Do you remember in FF8 Seifer saying something about his "dream"? But your never told what it is........and it bothered me when I re-played not too long ago.
This is what I think it is.....
Seifer's dream was to become the Sorceress's Knight (Obviously) but what bothered my was why? There must have been a reason, right? Well, if you remember, Laguna made a film called "The Sorceress's Knight"!! And you play Laguna in one of those flashbacks, and in the flashback, he's on the set of the film, which gets gate crashed by a Red Dragon, Laguna has to defend himself from the Dragon with a Gunblade.......just watch Laguna stance.....its exactly the same to Seifer's!!!
Seifer must have seen the film when he was younger and he must have wanted to be a sorceress's knight, it explains why he uses a gunblade and thats why it was so easy for Ultimecia to control him......well, thats what I think
Funny isn't it, Seifer's ultimate rival (Squall) is the son of the guy he aspired to become.
Squaresoft do have a sense of humour don't they?

Yeah, remember Ultimecia doesn't exist yet, so how can he have a dream about a sorceress that doesn't exist? Unless its a figment of his imagination, which Ultimecia isn't, she is very real.
And how do you explain that Laguna's fighting style with a Gunblade is exactly the same as Seifer's?
