1. How do I edit my profile/password?
Simply click on the register button above the forums. Scroll down and you'll see a button marked 'edit'. Check that and just enter your user name and password. You can also select a 'face' for your own profile. All available faces can be viewed here.

2. How can i use emoticons in my messages ?
To use emoticons you need to use the format :name: . All emoticons available can be viewed here
For example, in order to include in your message, you must use write :biggrin:

3. What tags can i use in my posts ?
You can not use HTML code (unless the Administrator allows so). However , you can use the BoardMaster tags, which come in the form [tag] text here [/tag] . Detailed information on all tags can be found here.

4. Where can I get the scripts for this program?
BoardMaster is written in Perl and created by Aristotle Vathis. It's freeware and can you can get it as well as other scripts at: Beholder.net. Enjoy!

5. How do I get a custom title/avatar
Post a lot of meaningful or humorous posts (as judged by TheContact) and TheContact might give you one. The more of a contributing member you are, the more likely you'll get one. It's on a whim.

6. Will this site every become more than a message board?
If I ever get the time, sure.

7. Why is this question 7?
My most frequently asked question. This is the the answer to question 7 because the question before this was question 6 and the one after it was question 8. I hope that solves all of your life's problems :)

Short answer: I don't like the look of your face. Why don't you buy UBB?

Long Answer: I already did, but the password is forever lost in the annals of email of a former colleague of mine. I won't buy it again.

9. Are there any rules?
Yes. Don't be too vulgar, post in the appropriate forums, be respectful of others. And try to be intelligent in your posts (you don't always have to, but it makes the board nicer). Not following the rules will result in punishment, just like everywhere else in life.

DarkSabre once posted (and these are all valid):
1)No asking for custom pics and titles until after you have over a hundred posts and then do so in private.

2)Paragraph large posts so that people can read them

3)Dont state opinions as facts.

4)We make a lot of jokes but if something is considered extreemly offensive to the majority we will take action, particularly if its directed at one of the more popular members of the forum.

5)TC is god here, he pays for this place out of his own pocket so annoying him or Guenhwyvar (who is under his protection) carries a minimum sentence of flaming or maximum sentence of banning.

6)No links to warez or pornography and nobody under the age of 13

Uh, no. Don't advertise on my boards, your messages will be deleted. Posting a site that has no commercial endeavor is usually okay though. If in doubt, email me first.
