According to this post on NeoGAF, SquareEnix is releasing some of it's PS1 games on the PlayStation Network on the PS3.  Notably: Xenogears!

Hopefully this will hold true for English releases as well.  Also, we need some Vagrant Story love.  I managed to move my old PS1 files over to the PS3, and yes, Vagrant Story is still awesome.

It's on store shelves as we speak!  It's a bit unfortunate that it's out at the same time as all these other great releases, but what can you do?  Let me preface this by saying that I'm really proud to have worked on this game.  In my relatively short career, it's easily the best product I've worked on in a variety of ways.  The production went very smoothly (no crunching!) and the end result of the game is, in my opinion, absolutely fantastic.

For those who don't know, Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance is an stand-alone expansion-pack for the real-time strategy game Supreme Commander (meaning you don't need the original game to play it).  You do, however, need a PC with around the following specs:
  • 3.0 Ghz processor
  • 1GB RAM or better
  • 8GB hard drive space
  • 256MB Video RAM or greater with DX9 vertex shader/pixel shader 2.0 support
  • Internet: cable/DSL speeds

Those specs provide optimal experience for single-player and up to 4 player MP on medium map size.  Obviously, the better your machine, the better the experience will be (especially if you take advantage of the multimonitor support).

Anyway, if you're in an RTS mood, I think you'll like this game. Even though it's an expansion pack, it's a major overhaul of Supreme Commander in all...

Just a little blurb to note that Evil Dead: Regeneration for the Xbox now also works on the 360 thanks to an backwards compatibility update.  It's actually pretty cool to go back and look at the game after a few years.  It's a lot funnier than I remember. Smiley
