It's on store shelves as we speak! It's a bit unfortunate that it's out at the same time as all these other great releases, but what can you do? Let me preface this by saying that I'm really proud to have worked on this game. In my relatively short career, it's easily the best product I've worked on in a variety of ways. The production went
very smoothly (no crunching!) and the end result of the game is, in my opinion, absolutely fantastic.
For those who don't know, Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance is an stand-alone expansion-pack for the real-time strategy game Supreme Commander (meaning you don't need the original game to play it). You do, however, need a PC with around the following specs:
- 3.0 Ghz processor
- 1GB RAM or better
- 8GB hard drive space
- 256MB Video RAM or greater with DX9 vertex shader/pixel shader 2.0 support
- Internet: cable/DSL speeds
Those specs provide optimal experience for single-player and up to 4 player MP on medium map size. Obviously, the better your machine, the better the experience will be (especially if you take advantage of the multimonitor support).
Anyway, if you're in an RTS mood, I think you'll like this game. Even though it's an expansion pack, it's a major overhaul of Supreme Commander in all...
