I'm bored. So... here we go again. ^.^ I usually turn my favorite stuff into desktop images so... I have quite a few. ^^; Isn't that sad...

Myaru, two questions...
What font do you use on your desktop and how do you give normal file folders custom icons???
Xenogears.... Let it be...

I think the font on my computer right now is Verdana... You know, to contribute to the "Xenogears feeling"...
As for your other question... I only know how to change icons for shortcuts - it may be the same with folders directly on your desktop, but I haven't tried.
1) Make sure you have the icons you want on your HD, and be sure you know the exact path (ie: C:\icons\emeralda.ico)
2) Right-click on the icon you want to change,a nd choose "Properties".
3) There should be a button that says "Change Icon" - click on that (of course).
4) There should be a field above the little window showing an array of Windows icons... type the file path for your chosen icon into that field, and it should show up in the display window.
5) Click "Apply", or "Ok" and you should be done.
Note that this is how it works on /my/ computer, running Windows 98 (at an incredibly slow speed, I might add. Ugh). I doubt it would be different for other versions, but you never know. *shrug*

Oh my goodness that is one of THE coolest Xenogears pictures I have ever seen... lame desktop my @ss! Did you make it yourself? Could I pretty-please have a copy of it for mine own desktop? Or a link to a page with it? Or an equally neato-looking pic?
You guys think your desktop be lame?
Mine is... (dum dum dum) Windows default.
I feel so ashamed!!

Mwehhehheh. You people are so funny. Is this what would happen if I drew a picture of Krelian and Roni in a compromising position? Or worse... no wait, I won't go there... Though once someone did ask me what else happened in that lab to trauamtize Fei so...
**twitch** But I don't like that line of thought. Gods, that's horrible... ^^ Why did I have to remember that?
And Cain, really... calling my desktop image lame. ^.^ I spent all of... um... an hour on it. ^^ So yeah...

Uh huh, yeah. So even the Almighty Krelian is not exempt from the alternative effects of ...fangirlish tendancies, to use Rune's phrase.
Oh yeah. I had that same GW picture as a background on my other computer too, except it showed more space. Speaking of mecha... did anyone notice that the Gear designer for Xenogears is Jun Ishigaki, one of the head Gundam designers who also worked on GW?
Uhm... I'd find it funny (and maybe kinda cruel) if Ramsus's icon was used for the "Recycle Bin" =P
