It seems Xenosaga will have orchestrated music, not sure if it all will be, or just some of it.. but on the official Xenosaga site, the London Philharmonic Orchestra are credited with 'music performance' beneath Mitsuda's composition credit. Er, this may have already been posted somewhere already.. I haven't checked out all the forums yet.. sorry

And this probably belongs in some other forum but it's my first time here and I saw some people mention Xenosaga so let me off this once!

Generally this forum is for discussion of character, story, allusions and generally 'deeper stuff' for Xenogears. Still, it is an interesting fact to note... Xenosaga being on 2 DVDs is going to make it the biggest console game to date, unless I've missed another one coming out.

Maybe biggest console game announced to date...

I'm not really into orchestrated scores, the last orchestrated soundtracks I like is Total Annihilation. I like Shenmue style music a lot.

The Total Annihilation score is amazing

It's one of my favorite game soundtracks. :)

ah.. I think my computer's messed up cos nothing showed up in that quote thingy for me.

This is said to be from the Xenosaga Episode I soundtrack, but I wouldn't say it for sure. Anyway it sounds like Mitsuda...

Yup, this does sound a bit weird and generic... I think I heard similar tones in numerous other animes/games, I'd like something about the standard of The Kingdom of Wind.
