... HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!
I completely forgot!
Gah!
After my initial notes were wiped, I kinda' lost the will to re-write, and I just... well, forgot about it.
GAH!
Um... I'll try to stop myself from making wacky Xenogears pics long enough to write up a quick somethin'.
After lunch.

Sounds intresting
What you pulling for the plot line. Any mysterious power, background nemisis that have their own goals. Evil bastards using evil bastards that are using bastards?
How about politics, which nations exist, what are the national motives, there needs, there tech level. How, if magic exists does it operate. All of these are important dissions in a good story...........
Of course if this is 3 chapters long that may be overkill, but I still consder all those points when building a world.....Purhaps I have been playing to many PnP games..........
Oh if you need an evil devious, ingenius, villian that is more than he appears you can use me. But I don't think I have been around long enough......Oh well

Very nice. It is good to see that you are considering many important peices. Too many people miss those sections when designing something.
------
For a country here are some names from my Atia World
7 Kingdoms (1st Age) Malahada Criiharlam Ariadia Farthaga Gehairth Nemarc Quitha
(2nd Age) Same kingdoms just less of them
Malahada Ariadia Farthaga (eliminated late in the 3rd Age, by Malahada) Quitha
(3rd Age) Ferhardon Gehara The Fortress (odd name, odd country) Shadow Lands (Not considered a country amoung humans)
(4th Age)
Memoram (Shadow Lands) Xilas Shafen Weemarm
I am sure one will work or a dirivative there of. More details are available on request.
------
If you havent done so I would name 2-3 people in every country and write a paragraph on their personal history/motivations. You will find that it is much easier to use them as plot enhancers later. If you need character names feel free to raid any of those I posted for the Newbie to use instead of XeNoFrEaK.

Here are some considerations:
Genetic Engineering Occured, Who was responsible, Why? Is Magic Limited by the Natural Laws. For instance is momentum conserved? Can Magic work in Tandem with technology? What affect does magic have on its user, Good or Bad? (For instance in my Atia magic comes from the soul. The energy best named by the Tymmarryns is called Jitae. The energy can be folded and moled through extensive measures to create complex affect, but it is rather like programing a computer, so you need to memorize the basics of every affect, however your soul can aide you on this feat. Some powers however are natural and can be used easily with little thought after the subject has enough training. I am by no means saying you should adopt this system it is only a very breife example.)
As for episodes they can be intresting, but it is always easy for a writer to go back and clarify the past. I have no sperate epsiodes, but the past ties in very powerfuly with Xylix. (ironically Xylix was in Atia a scientist studing the tomes of the ancients, data crysals)
--------
Cool idea for Xylix. As I said before the position you placed him in is rather Ironic. Not to be pushy or anything, but this is what Xylix was in the Atia world (I am happy enough with him just mentioned, so don't change unless YOU want to)
Xylix- (As he appears in Atia.) A man that ruled one of the seven kingdoms, Malahada, from the beginning of the second age to the end of the second age for a total of about 3000 years. His accent was greatly hated as this occured only 3 decades after the fall of Criiharlam and the six remaining kingdoms had sworn off wizard kings. (The use of Jitae makes the weilder immortal......). The war of accention occured shortly there after, but Xylix quickly conqured Gehairth and with it Shadow's Pass. Without this assult on the North was impossible.
During his reign he unearthed and started studing the Three tomes of the ancients. Unfortuantly uncoding data crystals with only your Jitae-Phi (Tymarryn for sensing with Jitae, kind of like a differn't version of sight) is a very difficult process (try reading this in the binary). He kept the study of the Tomes secreat though latter created two institutions devoted to their study. He is responsible for the orgional decoding of two to of the tomes. The third was stolen and decoded by Montanagon.
He is responsible for the building but not the completion of the Alpha Omega and uncovering much of the lost knowledge of the ancients. The Alpha Omega was not really finished until Tamon Var (Xylix's second advent or reincarnation) was born nearly a thousand years after Xylix's death. The Alpha Omega is a giant warship roughly 7 km long and 5 km wide. Using the weaponary and technology of the ancients it drove off the Tymmaryns who where in orbit.
He is noted in history is a good domestic leader as well as a excellent military leader. In his time he conquered 3 of the 5 other kingdoms and ruled an area far greater than any known today. (about 3/4 the size of America) He is also noted through out history as one of the most powerful if not the most powerful man to ever live.
He was killed after fighting two great wars the 1st and 2nd Shadow War which are comparable in losses and destruction to that of the 5th (10 million died in the first, 40 million died in the second). The final battle was Trysitia where he caused a Fusion reaction to destroy Montanagon and his armies.
When Xylix died he was atleast 3000 years old though sorces belive he fought in the War of Magi (war against Criiharlem) indicating he is at least 100 if not 200 years older.

Reading over DS reply I see no indication that you have been dropped.
Infact I very much doubt that you have been dropped. You may however (I am only guessing) have a non-major part.

Besides I am still stuck on page 26 of my story......
*stares at his feet in shame*
and I am only on chapter 4. Its terrible I spent 2 hours just revising the first 26 pages and still have things I need to redo. At least I have finnally figured out how to fill before the next major section.
