Just wonder if this game really get released. I can't find it in any import store and can't even find any news on it. The last news said it's going to be released in Feburary, so it should be out now? My friend goes to China and last time mailed me that he saw it in a pirated game shop, but it's only one disc (the PC version is three CDs), so I just wonder if anyone knows any info about it? Thanks.

Thanks for the info, where you got it? So it's actually released in Japan? Can anyone confirm this? I will import this game at any cost! :)
PS: I think publisher is Falcom? since Softmax is a Korean company, I don't think it publishes games in Japan?

Trade secret.
I couldn't find all that much info on the game. But I'd read about in various places. I read A LOT of magazines. AN theyre' not of the dirty variation either! Sorry, hope I helped. Though the art in game looks real cool.

Oh, think my information is out-date too much, just visited www.softmax.co.kr and www.softmax.co.jp and it seems softmax is now rich enough to open its own channel into the Japanese market. So on the site it says the DC version of ROZ is already released, now I just need to finda reliable import channel... :)

Best of luck! Seeing as I helped you out, when you get the game [you will right, 'I will import this game at any cost! :)'] post or email me to say how the game is. Looks interesting. Art, as I said, looks spiffy. Heard it's pretty story driven too. Nice art and a story. Sounds like some familiar game to me.

Well, you have no need to wait till I import this game, since I have already played it. If you ask my opinion, then I'd tell you it's one of the best RPG I have ever played. Well, two years ago it's THE best RPG I have ever played, now it's still THE best console-style RPG I have ever played. I want to import it simply because I want to know how can they even improve the game!
Not to spoil anything, the Chinese PC version of ROZ is simply great in every aspects possible, including stunning graphics (with delicate lighting and shadow effects), great classic music scores, deep story (a variation of Count of Mount Christ), great characters, and an addictive turn-based strategy battle system. Also it got three completely different endings with one happy ending, one sad ending, and one bitter-sweet ending. (everything I can ask for, at least...)
IMHO it's everything a RPGer can ask for, definitely a step above even ChronoTrigger and Xenogears. If you don't trust me then there's some reviews on the web (I remember one on RPGamer or somewhere), which may convince you...

I didn't know that you had already played it. And it appears that this has been quite an exclusive 'chat'.

Well, So sad it seems not many peole know about this game... :( For anyone interested in the DC version, this site may be helpful : http://www.softmax.co.jp/nishikaze /
It seems the DC version followed the "updated" character models of the Japanese PC version, which looks to me much less mature than the original Korean version and Chinese version's characters. I know Japanese has a thing for young people, but...
Updated Chris
Original Chris
Updated Kana
Original Kana
Updated Mercedes
Original Mercedes
If you ask me, I'd really prefer the original more mature models. But I heard there will be added animations for the characters, which worth a try... (to be sincere, Chris was one of my favorite female characters, but in the new version, they make her look like an idiotic boy... hope they don't change her personality...)
BTW, Hope they translate The War of Genesis 3 sometime soon, I can't wait for it now...

You succeed in finding it? But, I'm a little clueless here. Do you want the PC or DC version?

I already own the PC version, and think it's the perfection in console-style RPGs. So I really want to see what they have improved in the DC version, as they have said that there are a LOT of improvements, However, I'm a bit sad to see that the DC version uses the "updated" character portraits, which I think is not as good as the original ones. However I'll still get the DC version ;)
PS: the War of Genesis 3 site : www.genesis3.co.kr , and the original ROZ site : http://www.softmax.co.kr/zephyr /
