I'm just curious, does anyone have a translation for the Japanese words in the opening cutscene.

I picked up the game recently and found it to be entertaining although not brilliant.

BOF4 is a very good game... Better than 3, almost as good as 2nd... Unfortunatelly, it gets boring after 20th hour, since the story gets losen up a bit, and you are wondering "why should i go there and do that when all i needed was to do this".

The ending sucks hardcore... Both endings in fact... It's lame, i was disapointed... Also, what happened to Nina's sister was... half-expected, half... disgusting? :p

I think Nina's sister "situation" was based in an anime the creators of BOF4 saw. It involved the same happenings, except this was the girlfriend of the protagonist in the anime...

And the protagonist had to kill her too for the same reasons...

"Your mother is pig!"-Excel trying to fix the situation after the previous words

Well graphically its not too bad, it might not be as impressive as FF7-9 but I still like it. The rotating camera angles are bloody obnoxious. They should have made them more like Xenogears or Wild Arms 2. The battle system is reasonably good and the music is a lot better than I expected. As for the storyline its sorta too early to tell.

Thanks LF although now I think I'm going to make up immaginary dialogue.

The early story is much better than any other BOFs, imho, since it catches your attention from the first minute... At least for me... :)

And hey, the First Emperor is reminding me of Sephiroth, so it was all good... :)

Let me remember... Someone said it on GameFaqs last year...
I think during the scene with Fou Lu they were saying

"What do you mean... No!!! Humans are not that way!"

And during the final part with the dragon on screen it was something like

"Who are you? Where are you going?"

All this, I'm not 100% sure.
