Okay, there are 12 Anima relics, all going to 12 Omnigears (and their Pilots...).

01. JUDAH = Krelian
02. ZEBULUN = Ramsus
03. NEPHTALI = Grahf
04. REUBEN =
05. SIMEON =
06. LEVI =
07. ISSACHAR =
08. DINAH = Elly
09. ASHER = Citan
10. DAN = Bart
11. JOSEPH = Billy
12. GAD = Rico

Now, we have 4 missing. 1 went to Rene Fatima, and another went to Miang.

Does anyone know what happenned to the other 2?

Here's my theory:

Gad-Rico-Stier
Joseph-Billy-Renmazou
Dan-Bart-Andvari
Asher-Hyuga-Fenrir
Dinah-Sophia/Elly-Regurus
Zebulun-Ramsus-Vendetta
Naphtali-Grahf-Alpha Weltall
Judah-Krelian-Gear never seen
Levi-Miang-Opiomorph
Simeon-Ramsus-Amphysvena
Issacher-Maria-El Seibzehn
Reuben-Emeralda-Crescens

Of course the last 2 were never in the game, but they are in Perfect Works. The last 4 can be changed with any of the other ones, since we never get specified which goes to which. Of course its just a theory of mine, since neither the game nor PW specifies anything.

I think the fact that Krelian's anima relic is called Judah has a LOT of meaning behind it...Hmmm...

Basically, each tribe of Israel had a different... "attribute" for lack of a better word. And some of those have great significance to the characters in Xenogears - problem is, not everyone has a 100% positive match. For instance...

If Billy's Relic is Levi, then that would be rather fitting. ^.^ Levi was the tribe of priests, so Billy fits right in.

Krelian is the big one. Oh, be still my beating heart. ^.^

Judah means literally, "Praise be to the Lord" - so Krelian would be a man who offers devout praise up to God (and he certainly did, didn't he? Until Elly died, that is). In history/mythology, Judah had a big part in forming and promoting the teachings and laws of the Jewish people; Judah the King eventually lead his people into destruction by listening to an outside influence... In Xenogears, Krelian had a HUGE part in forming the Nisan religion, and its teachings and laws... and he was led astray by the voice of the false god - Miang, then Cain, and then the Gazel. ^.^

I'm personally still creeped out by the "Praise be to the Lord" part of his definition. ^.^ In context with Krelian, that's a rather frightening (but true) contradiction. ^.~ But Krelian's story leads right into the myth... as do so many of the others. It's insane, and I've only just now started noticing just how well the Xenogears creators wove these threads into their story. It's amazing. They deserve mountains of accalim, credits, and adoration - that must have been one monumental task.

I have a bunch of this stuff on my page, but some of it is rather outdated. ^^ My research is far more complete now - too bad it's still only on paper.

I'm not sure, but i think the tribe of levi was the tribe that attended to the priests, and were the scholars, not the priests themselves, who were the cohen, which i believe were descendants of judah. but i'm not sure though.

Go to the page and see for yourself. It's outdated like I said, but the basic information is still there, and it's correct according to the books I've used as references. Since opinions differ based on which specific religious history you read, I suggest you keep an open mind. Minor errors are usually just differences of opinion.
