Do you think you got what it takes to beat my game? Post EVERYTHING that you think is pimp shit that few others can or have the patience do. This is aimed to XG PROS. I don't want a newbie w/a dex drive save or a gameshark sayin he's better than me. I've spent 75 hours and I'm ALMOST burned out on XG. I'll post my stuff tomorrow cuz I'm too lazy right now.

120 hours and he still doesn't have the combos mastered? That's pitiful.

Have you ever tried doing a TTTTTTT combo? (T=triangle) Sometimes the number of buttons pressed matter in the learning's advance...

I think I'm pretty good. Specially because the first time I played Xenogears I didn't want to finish the game, and so went around the world (doing the sidequests in the meantime) getting more exp. and the deathblows. But I never launched myself against Power Seraphs at all, for exp I always battled those Huge Dragons at the Sandmen Isle... got to lvl 92 only (only? heheh...) and I'm still trying to get Ramsus in my party (J/K) A grand total of 147 hours between 2 plays. Yep.

I have completed all of the side quests, I have reached level 99 and have so much gold, that....umm...i have alot of it...
anyway I have a 73 hour game, so yeah.....my save is at the bottom of Deus, and even though my party is still maxed out, it still takes quite a bit of time/work to beat Deus and the four pillars....wierd, seeing how in most square games the final boss is one of the easiest, or at least isnt that hard; after I'd had my time with FF7 I could beat all 3 forms of sephiroth in about 5 minutes....

I'm the GREATEST player since I totally enjoyed this game. IMHO the most important thing about games is how much you enjoy them. If you play too much and end up burnt out, then you are a stupid player. I play Xenogears fast and didn't complete all side-quests each time, and that keeps me enjoying the games when I play again and again.

thats a great strategy, but I'm not like that; the more I play xenogears (either playing through the actual game or just messing around) the more I like it, which makes me want to play it more! :)
and yes I have a life outside of video games but not after 12 am!

Heres the basics-
EVERYONE is lvl 99, has a gear equiped with 2 GNR50 and a Frame HP 30('cept ChuChu), has 999HP and 99MP('cept chu chu who has 804 HP and 99MP)and has the latest gear frames. Their armor is all Z alloy 80/30 and engines are X70-8000(I hate having only 1000-2000 fuel so I just use these)
Fei's atk is 200(the only stat aside from HP and MP that I've altered drastically w/drive)
I have every rare item from the Battling area that's of any value. everything but the elemental armor, and rings and the chargers.
EVERY sidequest from tuara to the little jukebox guy in shevat.

Kostjan: This is a board for XG fans newbie or not so no more shall I bitch about anyone if they are a newbie or not:P
Since Christmas 98' I have went through Xenogears 8 times. The most time I spent on it was my first time through. I spent 87 hours for the First and the Last. I always go around talking to characters and the like. A few things I found that I bet no one else has is simply little tiny things. For instance I got Fei to comment about his personal safety while in the D Block district in Kislev. Or get money from hammer for giving him the collar safety device. Even though I beat it 8 times, Xenogears remains my favorite game which I enjoyed very much.

Here's the reason I think I am a great XG player that I didn't post before. I have found anything and everything there is to find in this game. I will gurantee you you won't tell me something that I have noit done at least one time during the game. I have found everything, talked about everything with anyone in this game at least one time.
