Actually, I think they're just referring to Xenosaga as a sequel - not talking about a sequel to Xenosaga. It's all in the context, I guess... their grammar is just lacking.
Or, I could just be trying to nitpick because I have a grudge against all RPG news sites. ^.^

But isn't Xenosaga a PREQUEL not a SEQUEL?
So, in that case their grammer is deffinately lacking.....

I don't think that that information is accurate, but I am a pessimist. Also, even if XenoSaga's sequel is in production (which it shouldn't, considering XenoSaga is nowhere near first-playable version) then there is no guarentee that it would be released outside of Japan. This is also true for XenoSaga. Xenogears was barely released in the U.S., let alone anywhere else. But if XenoSaga is not released outside of Japan, we can always form a terrorist strike team.

How do you know XS is nowhere near a playable version? If they intend on unveiling it in 5 weeks, then surely they must have a build ready. Plus, xenosaga.com was registered in September of last year - indicating they had already been working on it at that time...

Well, Square announced FF10 and 11 when FF9 is barely a playable demo...

Weid... I just saw on another 'not so reliable' site that the development of XenoSaga itself, and not it's sequel, has just started... Anyway, let's wait for official words...

MonoSoft wouldn't be showing so little at the Tokyo Game show if they had the game farther along. It's great advertising, so they would capitalize on a playable demo of the game if they could.
