Hmmm.

I don't mind the look of the pics so much as I mind the fact that I really doubt it will live up to Xenogears. I am still going to play it, even if I have to import it, but I am rather annoyed that the creators intend to "redo" Xenogears. No doubt there were some problems, but these seem to be the affect of being forced to publish the game before it was complete (aka disc two). I would love to see a remake of Xenogears as it was originally meant to be completed. But what I am hearing sounds like the "real" Xenogears isn't even part of the picture any more. I would hate to see the "new" Xenogears be highly different, altered to the point that any similarities between it and the original are only that: similarities, leaving Fei and Elly and my dear Citan left hanging in some alternate reality limbo. It's kinda like my feelings on Tenchi: Muyo was FINE! why did Universe have to alter the premise?!

However . . .

I did get a cold chill when I saw teh pics of Zohar :)

Also, there is in image of a man standing in front of a fire *coughsephirothcough*. Could we be looking at a villain of sorts?

No no no! The Xenosaga is NOT a sequel and NEITHER prequel to Xenogears. However, it is to tell the COMPLETE story of Xenogears in a new revised version. (Of course, it is possible that they designed KOS-MOS similar to Elly, because Elly was very popular amog the fans.)
