You heard me, I swear, he has braids in his Solarian-sprite form. His hair is split down the middle at the back, something that does not appear on his blue-haired-Nisan sprite.
Has anyone else known/noticed this, or is this observation simply the result of lack of sleep? 
[you can best see it during the scene where spoiler:Elly turns into Miang and Krelian turns around to follow her.]
This is like a paradigm shift for me... well, okay maybe not, but it could seriously alter the way I illustrate him.

I think it's his nano-device that's splitting his hair when it falls down his back. ^.^ Like Zephyr and the others - at least at first, it seems - he also has to wear a device that extends his life... It's present in his portrait here:

At least, that's what I think it is. ^.^ I could be wrong.

One thing about Zephyr, she seems a bit too young to me... how old was she when she goes immortal? And her hair... well, is that part of nano-device too? and that mark in her forehead?

Are said devices visible on Queen Zephyr and the others too?
Strange though, I thought I saw his hair tied up... but it could be just a trick of the pixelization. Oh well, time to go play Xenogears again

I think Zephyr's costume covers it up... I'm not sure about the wise men, although with Melchoir, it wouldn't really matter, since he looks so strange already. ^^ Unfortunately, I've never seen any design sketches for modern-day Krelian, so I don't know what the rest of it looks like. I assume, though, that he wears his hair the same way now as he did in Nisan...
