I was always wondering whether it's Redrum or Fei's other personality (Id?) who killed Rico's gang in Kislev's sewer. When investigating the muder scenes, there are green gooes and those patterns around drainages with clearly points towards Redrum (we all know Id don't have green gooes nor always kill people near drainages right?) But then towards the end of the game it's suddenly mentioned that Id killed all the people in the sewer. So which is true, how can Id be consistent with the green gooes and the murder scene patterns?

Id did it. He said so.

I believe that it was Id who killed the Battlers. When the scene of the first one being hunted down is shown, it is viewed through a red haze. When you see the screen from Redrum's point of view, the haze is green. As for the slime being around the murder scenes: Redrum was a Wels. He was once human b/c his son was in Billy's orphanage The orphanage is in Aquavy where the Wels most often appear. Redrum somehow ended up in Nortune. Wels feed on human flesh. So he was simply eating the bodies once Id had killed them, leaving his slime behind. That is why Fei, Citan, and Rico ring the bell amulet near the one body that didn't have any slime, to summon Redrum. If he /had/ killed the man, there would have already been slime there.

No, you didn't ring the bell near the one body. You ring the bell near the drainage pipe where there's no body. The murder scene pattern showed that people are only murdered near drainage pipes. Sure maybe Redrum just come up to eat the body, but then I wonder why Id always kill people near a drainage pipe?

Oh right. You ring it where there is /slime/ and not a body. Heh, sorry about that. But otherwise, this fits.

I believe it's a bug in the story. I think the writer screwed up on this one.

I wondered the same thing. The conclusion I came up with is that its ID who killed them, remember we don't see the green goo during any of the murders. My guess is that redrum was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Either that or the green guy (gramps I think they called him) framed him.

I was just wondering any idea how Citan made the connection. The Red and green vision aside there wasnt exactly that much evidence to go on. Maybe he stumbled onto something when he went back down to bury RedRum our misunderstood friend. Or maybe he extracted the knowledge from the diying body telepathically supporting my old Citan is a telepath theory.
Any other ideas?

Didn't he say that Id told him he did so?

I think Id killed some and Redrum killed some, personally. Id may have weakened them (the battlers), tricked them, or led Redrum to them.. though I doubt Id would mind getting his hands dirty, why bother when Fei would be the suspect anyway? That explains the pipes, (if he did kill them) he knew Redrum would take care of any evidence.
And all Citan would need is to see some suspicios slime on Fei, or perhaps notice his bunk wasn't being used at some point and he's not around...
