Very short and simple question. After the credits in Xenogears we see a short anime clip of some scenery and some metalic ruins. It looks to me like the machinery the Mother Persona stepped out off but I could be wrong. My guess is that this is a way of linking the ending into the start of the game in terms of imagery. Any other opinions as to what is was?

I think they showed it again because that's where the game began, they probably wanted to bring you back there.

I'm guessing it's what they called "Kadomony". That was the vessel of the True Mother (they show it to us in the game, right after Fei merges with himself). All that place really was... was the birthplace of "Miang", Cain, and the Ministry... *shrug*

Isn't Kodomony the place I mentioned? I just couldnt remember the name of the top of my head. Fei goes there after his reunification and mentions that the big tube is where the first woman was created ie the Mother persona and shortly after the Gazel ministry and Cain would come into existence.
So I think all three of us are right and they just did it to link in to the start of the game sorta like the biblical quote alpha and Omen etc since the place quite literally is the alpha and omega
