Ok I am a huge RPG fan. I played Xenogears when it first came out. I liked it, beat it, saw the end, and was happy. I can't believe i din't notice its intense plot. Only when i saw Myaru's link to her Xenogears page, that i was astonished by how much was in this great game. I stated to play it again, and it quickly blew all my other games in my top 10 list out of the water. It is now my favorite.

My question is, this may seem stupid, but remeber i just got back into Xenogears, and have only played it twice, how was Miang split into Elly/Miang?

Always glad to see another Xenogears fan. ^.^
To answer what the others didn't... the part that actually split was the program... or rather, there were two girls, and the program was divided between them. They're just two different sides of the same person... if you put them together, you have the whole.
It says, as the others mentioned, that Original Elly/Miang gave birth to the girls; the fact that her body is still in Kadomony is proof of that.
I'm pretty sure I explained this in another topic, but I'm not sure it was on this board. Just look around a bit... And nice to see you. ^.^ Don't worry -- it wasn't a stupid question. It's not really clear specifically how the split took place, anyway. (At least you didn't ask me what the Episodes mean... though if you do, I will answer. ^_^;)

Miang never split into both Elly and Miang, it was the mother, also known as kadamony which did that. Actually, she probably gave birth to the 2 girls, then died instead of literally splitting into 2 women. Originally, it was just supposed to be the 'weapon' Miang, but due to Abel's contact with zohar, the mother's will was installed into zohar, and thus kadamony as well causing this 'split' to occur.

I am not Mad.............yet (lol).
I have been up for over 36, so if answers are wrong, sorry. I am sure the others will help.
Miang is in ALL women. She was the first human, ment to give birth to the human race. She can maifest in any women, she just chose Elly cause she was the Contact (if I got this wrong, let me know guys), she could help complete Deus, and send him home with Krileian. Sorryif it is all wrong. It is the best I can do.

Miang wasn't meant to give birth to all mankind that role was for the mother persona who split into Elly and Miang presumably as Cain said by having birth to the two. Miang is NOT in all women however there is what is known as the Miang factor in all women this means that using the Urobolus ring she can pass her consciousness into another woman after she dies and take control of a new host body. This is presumably the same thing what Grahf learned to do among men enabling his to live inside other people such as Wiseman.
Hope that clears it up a little.
