Today when I got home from school I decided to play alittle of the beginning of my favorite part of my favorite game, Xenogears, the 2nd disc. I was reading the dialogue of when they show Weltall and he was morphed from the nanomachines and Bal said "I didn't think I'd ever get to work on the host for the slayer of god's gear ever again." What does this mean? Did he participate in the consruction of Weltall or was it when you visit him towards the beginnging of the game. What is this? Please explain to me as much as possible...
(I used to know, I think, but I have lost my knowledge since I haven't played it in like 2 months or so)

The most obvious answer would be that Balthasar worked on Weltall and Brigandier in the Sand Caverns under Aveh on disc 1.
And who knows, since Bal was alive during the Nisan war, he might even have helped build Lacan's Alpha Weltall.*shrug*

No its not. It always was Alpha Weltall. The demonic wings are merely its infinite mode, similar to Xenogears' energy wings. As you stated earlier, True Weltall and Alpha Weltall are the same thing. Remember the Kislev explosion? That black gear with the demon wings is Grahf's Alpha Weltall.
