Man, the trip I was going was canceled. Oh well, at least I can play some more games, especially Xenogears. O.K. where was Elru located. Im guessing it was on the island that has the lighthouse. Does anyone know. Oh and yeah what is Deus purpose after he is resurrected, why does he want to destroy humanity, why did he destroy the Eldrige. My brain hurts, cant think. Help.
Destiny has but one soul.

Elru was located on the same island as Taura's hut. Well according to the world atlas in PW anyway.
Deus motive was to -LIVE-! ...and humans were meant to became part of it, but the ones who didn't become part of it had to be destroyed so that Deus could live without enemies. Deus would then terraform and consum planet after planet... Eventually it would reach Earth. Yes...´this weapon...."Deus"...........was..........LAVOS! j/k

Your trip was cancelled? I'm sorry to hear that...Oh, well, at least that means more games, right? I don't know where Elru is located unfortunately, I don't think the game mentioned its location on the land at any point..I'm quite sure it is on land (not in the air, like Solaris or Shevat), since it was Dominia's homeland and it is mentioned several times that she was originally a land-dweller. As for Deus' motive, I don't think it was just simply intent on destroying humanity for the heck of it, like in most run of the mill rpgs. I think it's more complicated than that, though I'm not sure in what way...Great question though, I'd love to hear from someone who can answer.

AC was right, Slgurd - Elru is southeast of Ignas... below the same area Lahan was in. It's quite understandable that nothing else BUT his hut was there, now...
And sure... Deus wanted to live, I'm sure you're right. But he also wanted to be his own master. You can live all you want, and it won't do you a bit of good if you're dominated by someone or something else. (And earth was out of it of course, since earth is... well, gone for all intents and purposes. ^.^
Ja mata.

First of all Deus destroyed the Eldridge because the people on board treated Deus as being a machine like any other and had plans for it and also because they considered Deus too dangerous and wanted him dismantled and made safe. Deus retaliated and ended up on the planet. Deus created humans which could be turned into Wels and then absorbed into him later on in an effort to restore himself. So humans were all created simply so that they could later be turned into his damaged or destroyed components as a way for Deus to repair and ressurect himself. As for his goals once ressurected, who knows? Maybe he wanted to become a teen idol lol
Yes totally useless ha ha chase after it boy a love thats unattainable no matter how hard you pursue it.
