Ok. I know what they are and what their purpose was, but what do Billy, Bart and all the other people of the world have to do with them. I completely didnt get the conversation when Fei was being interogated by the Gazel and Citan. They showed Billy and Bart and said a lot of stuff.
Destiny has but one soul.

Since they are descendents of the Gazel, they can use Anima Relics
"Have you ever been in love?" Kissoon replied. "Yes I think so." "Then you've been to Quiddity twice. Once the first night you slept out of the womb. The second occassion the night you lay beside the woman you loved. Or man was it?" He laughed. "Whichever." "Quiddity is the sea." "Quiddity is the sea. And in it are islands called the Ephemeris." "I want to go there." Jaff breathed. "You will. One more time you will." "When?" "The last night of your life. That's all we ever get." -Exerpt from The Great and Secret Show by Clive Barker

I may be completely off the mark here, but this is my theory... Every member of your party (except for Fei and Elly) is an animus, in otherwords a person who can align with an Anima Relic. These animus are like replicated decendants of the Gazel ministry (who are/were also Animus ofcourse) in their fleshly bodies. I think this is the case, I'm not sure...

You're right Sigurd. Basically when the Gazel lost their fleshy bodies their animus was recreated in the people in Fei's group of friends.
Yes totally useless ha ha chase after it boy a love thats unattainable no matter how hard you pursue it.

Raine, you beat the game a few times, right? If so, then did you not understand that conversation each time? It is very complicated, sure, I only understood it after I really paid close attention to everything they said.

You probably already know this, but: animus is Latin for soul or spirit. Its other translation is "female personification" (anima). I guess it bolsters your arguments.
