Ok, I have been wondering how do say Id.
According to wheer the name comes from you are suppose to say it like two seperate letters. I-D.
But when I hear people talk they say Id, together. I dont know how to seperate that into sounds. But if you get what I mean, reply.

You pronounce it the same way you pronounce Id in dID. If you know what I mean. The actual name comes from Freud's work. It basically means the part of the Psyche with all our desires and lusts.

The Id is, essentially, the animal self.. the part of you that worries only about eating, sleeping & chasing the ladies (or gents, depending on your preference). Freud also gave the Id the role of being the source of dreams and other various things.

Oh....I always pronounced it I-D...Id sounds so....flat..
