What about that guy who fell out off Solaris? Since Solaris works at an upside-down gravity well, he would've fallen out UPWARDS, encountered real gravity, then fallen DOWNWARDS, encountered Solaris gravity, then fall UPWARDS, etc...
And what about SHEVAT? What's to stop kids from falling off the sidewalks? It's a LO~OOOOOng way down...
Hey, remember when Bart and Fei returned to the Yggdrasil bridge, but a Chu-Chu "stuffed doll" was blocking their way? Tell me, would YOU turn around, because a cute pink fluffy doll was blocking your way? Is it THAT sickingly cute to stop you from kicking it aside?
Speaking about the Yggdrasil, where are the toilets? ...oh wait, I was wondering what those windows were for...
And how did the Enterprise get to the center of the galaxy so fast in Star Trek 5? Scotty must've been REALLY puttin' the pedal to the metal.
And why can't Cloud equip the Masamune? Is he afraid of Sephiroth cooties, or somethin'?
People not caring when you barge into their house and taking their stuff? Hey, if a whole gang of sweaty armed warriors with lethal weapons walked into YOUR house, would YOU stop 'em?
And why is Bowser always kidnapping Princess Toadstool? What could he possibly want to do to h... er, never mind. (shudder)

So...tell me once again, why we CAN'T use a Phoenix Down on Aeris? and instead,just let her sink in a pool of water that looks deeper than what it actually is...(remember Cloud WALKING in it? Well...as soon as he let go of Aeris...she sure did drop what, 20-30 feet? Wow, Cloud has long legs...)

Phoenix Downs don't really bring people back to life.
Your friends just fall unconcious in battle (concussions and such), and Phoenix Downs give 'em a quick jolt to wake 'em up. Like those electic paddles you see in hospitals.
Just my theory, of course...

First of all her death isnt really a spoiler since on the back of the box there is a picture of her dead body in cloud's arms. I dont think anyone thought she was sleeping. Whoever designed the packaging for the European version should be shot.
Anyway if you must know the truth then allow me to tell it. All along Tifa was actually working with sephiroth. That's why she kept screwing with Fei's head telling him all that mumbo jumbo in his head. Then when he started taking an interest in Aeris, she decided to get sephiroth to kill her whilst Tifa took everyone's phoenix downs and hid them somewhere.

How do you know it's Tifa?? I heard that Barett can also be dated and all (never tried to get that tho), so maybe it's his doing?? I mean, he learned that Cloud had started to develop somewhat of a heterosexual preference for Aeris, and went in to sell his friend's secrets to Sephiroth for a chance to get back to him.. Unfortunatelly, evil Tifa finally charmed down our hero, and even forced him for a romantic night under the stars... So whoever said the Elly/Fei scene in the private ship room was VERY daring must have gone mad over this one.... :(

A. It is pure magic. That and cheese fries... You have to think of it really hard, but you will eventually et it.

A. Theu had heard the rumors about the great chu-chu God and were to afraid to disturb it, for if they would bad things might happen. Besides Citan tells the gang that Chu-Chu is realted to Chucky for the Child's Play movies. I can't believe you forgot that.

Hey that guy who fell in Solaris, that was me!! If I was anyone in that game I was the guy who fell upside down. Oh and to all you people qho think you really are a lot like Fei or Elly get a life you dont run around with weapons doing huge ether attacks like big bang etc.
As far as toilets go I've never seen one on any of the star trek shows. I'm not even sure people in the future need to go, can you remember any s.f series set in the future where they had toilets (set in space)
I'll see if I can come up with some more stupid things.

err you might notice I actually voted for Noa in the poll. Just point me to the part in the game when she flaps her arms and flies by herself. In any case I thought I was going to get grilled for my comments about vivi.

Remember when the gang got on the good side of the guys with wings, and they gave 'em a lift to... somewhere?
Sure, someone was carrying her, but lil' Noa was flapping her arms as hard as she could, and it was the CEE-YOOTEST thing...
I'd make a screenshot, but I don't have a saved-game anywhere near there. I only kept the one right before the end-boss. I'd have to start over again. (I only finished FF9 two days ago, and am in the middle of Evolution.)
After that, I'm playing Chrono Cross for the 4th time. It was listening to the soudtrack in the car. I HAVE to play it again. HAVE to.

Amazing you're playing through Chrono cross for the 4th time and I'm still on my first time through since I just got the game. As for Noa I know the part of the game you're talking about but that doesnt count since as you so eliquently put it "someone was carrying her". Do we count Fear effect as an RPG or adventure game? I'm playing through that too as well as FF9 for the second time with 99 of everything.
