The Xenogears Perfect Works is the godly tome of all things Xenogears. It has art, information, character designs, and bunches of other things. I could probably give a more vivid description...if I had it...*sob*
But my *birthday* is coming up....
My name? Names are irrelevent. But if you insist call me ID.

The best thing about the book is that it contains a great deal of information not mentioned in the game due to time restraints or a lack of room in the game.
I'd buy the book myself but I cant read Japanese and most of the artwork is up on the net it would seem.
I'd love to chat longer but I'm having an old friend for dinner. Bye

Another problem with getting Perfect Works might be the fact that it's extremely rare. I've seen it on EBay for $100 and more... Luckily I managed to nab a copy for something like 70, but it's all luck of the draw.
Now, if only I could read it.

I'm not sure where people get the idea that it's rare... though I suppose it would be more difficult to order from somewhere that is not North America (according to the people I've talked to, anyway). The book is all over the place. ^^ Kinokuniya regularly has piles of it in their store, usually for around $51, plus tax. *shrug*
(Begin nostalgic rant) When /I/ tried to buy it, "rare" didn't begin to describe it... (chokes off nostalgic rant) *ahem*
Ja mata. ^.^

Go figure. I've actually never seen it in a store. Which is surprising, because one comic book store has tons of great stuff.
Maybe they were hiding from me.

In Australia is rarer then a steak in a French restaurant. I havent seen it anywhere and believe me I've looked. Melbourne sucks however since there's pretty much only one anime store in Melbourne and its about the size of the average bathroom. The guy there is kinda strange and not in a good way. The only way i could ever pick it up is ordering it online somewhere.

To be honest I have seen about as many French restaurants as I have copies of Perfect works.

At least you have anime stores. In the North Eastern United States there is nothing. The only city I could think of that has anime stores is 4-5 hours away. In New York City.
