I have a question: I have read somewhere of the story regarding the 1st chapter of Xenogears, where it's said the history of humanity; well, I haven't understood if the Eldridge was the only spacecraft of humans or not.I hope it wasn't so!will someone reply to me?

The Eldridge was in fact one of two ships... and there was probably a massive fleet quite aside from those. Humanity was all over the place, so the Eldridge was not, in fact, humanity's last hope at all - just a convenient way to get rid of Deus.
Information for this came from Intangir. ^.^
Ja mata.

Essentially the Eldridge is a one of a kind ship. Whilst humanity probably did have a few other ships around, none of them would be remotely close to the Eldridge in terms of technology. Basically the Eldridge was humanities finest acheivment in space technology taking over a decade (I think, correct me if I'm wrong)to build. So to answer your question humans probably had the odd smaller spaceship which was far less advanced but nothing better or on the same level. Remember we have spaceships today but they dont travel very far and we refer to them as shuttles

Moreover, the Eldrige was carrying the "one of a kind" terraforming weapon we all know as Deus ;((

The Eldridge kinda reminds me of that ship in Robotech/Macross. Has anybody else made that connection?
Ok, whats this about being one of two ships? What was the other? I love the "Transcend Christ" part of the game(though it wasnt in the game). I gotta translate my PW.
Have a rainy day!

I made the connection with the Yggdrasil4 when it combined with that other ship and fought against that Solaris mobile weapon thing. It even had a really cheesey name which made it even more of a blatent rip off. They called it something like Super dimentional fortress Yggdrasil 4.
