[Expectation of Nanotechnology / Miang's Plot ]
Zeboim era 6053 - 6081
6053 - Miang awaken as twin sisters (M0611 and M0612) *see note
6055 - Kim and Elehayym were born
6071 - Kim enters university and was admitted to the Department of Medicine, funded by the government
6074 - Department of Science, biochemistry section began research of molecular machines. Elehayym worked as a nurse for the federal Medical Affairs Burea in the same year
6075 - Kim acquires his Master Degree and continues onto graduate school
6077 - Kim presents his research thesis, "A method of gene restructuring using molecular machines", his primary field of research since his undergraduate years.
The fundamentals of his research involved the notion of a 'soul vessel', the creation of a pseudolife constructed by colonies of molecular machines. This thesis was denounced because it went against modern day orthodoxy. Kim was expelled by the Academy shortly thereafter. After the expulsion, Kim gives up on the molecular machine research, and continues his career at the Department of Medicine in the same year. He pursued the road of doctor again.
6078 - Miang judged that the human in this era were defective to be used as parts for Deus. As a result of the conference with the Gazel Ministry, disposal and resetting the human cycle has been decided in disguise as an all-out nuclear war. The preparation for an overall nuclear war is started at the sovereign nation of Zeboim.
6079 - Kim worked as a doctor at the Medical Affairs Burea. In the same year, he encounters Elehayym.
6081 - The anti-government group known as Raveny bombed the city's central power plant facilities. Almost 50% of city-wide power were out of commission due to this terrorism. The Federal Medical Affairs Burea also suffer from this power failure and used its private power generator. During the power failure, Kim's patient lost her life.
Miang paid special attention to Kim's research thesis in the same year. As a possible attempt to artificially excel human's evolution with the use of molecular machines without resetting the cycle as planned earlier, Miang came in contact with Kim and offers to sponsor a research facility to continue his research on nanotechnology. Kim accepts Miang's offer and restarts his research and development of nanomachines. Anti-government organization, Raveny, also obtained Kim's thesis at about the same time. Raveny was highly interested at the possibility of developing advance weapons from Kim's research. This interest initiated a persistant contact attempt with Kim from Raveny.

I own PW but I can't read Japanesse. Does it not give any historical information reguarding the time between 0011 and 6053? I realize that this timespan contains no Contact and Antitype, however, I am surprised that no mention of it would be given. I would assume humanity here followed a path not unlike the course the actual human race has followed from the beginings of the first civilizations to sometime not too terribly long from now. It would still be great to know, though, just how they became as advanced as they were in the Zeboim era and what Miang, Cain and the Gazel had to do with it.

Nope, as far as I know - and I have thoroughly gone over the History Chapter - there were no account of things that happened during 0011 and 6053. Oh.. PW also mentioned that Kim was the first Contact to transmigrate from the times of Abel. Other than that, human were gradually populating the planet at set 'intervals', continuing forth with evolution and stuff.
Oh yes, there was a keynote stating that Zeboim Civilization advanced to a point that resembles modern day technology of the real world (modern day, as in year 2001).

Does it say anything in regards to whether or not there were earlier incarnations and partial contacts after Abel and before Kim?

PW specifically said that Kim was the very first transmigrated Contact after Abel -- meaning there were no transmigrations or 'partial' transmigrations prior to the Zeboim era and the era after Abel's life span.

When you write "set intervals" you mean that in certainly predefinite years the global earth population would be doubled?

Yeah, that's what I assumed -- population doubles or increases at a predefined rate.
Also, keep in mind that the human evolution cycle has been reset twice prior to the Zeboim civilization era.

Perhaps these twins may hold some key to the rumoured Xeno sequel?
The concept of two Miang's at once is certainly thought provoking.
Could Xeno focus on one of the two?
The legacy of their actions?
The long lost Elly twin, that fell out of the Contact spiral?
Or perhaps the government body that has secretly created an army of Emeralda's, and centuries later one is accidentally awakened, beginning a terrible program now reawakened?
The discovery of Alice living up the road from me, making a living drawing Yaoi and selling them on ebay?
How Bart really lost that eye (again involving yaoi)?
Perhaps you play a Riskbreaker for the Church, out to hunt that elusive rebel leader Primera for terrorist actions against the Ethos order?
The revelation of sentience among Gears, caused by Emeralda inadvertantly dropping nanomachines on everything she touched, allowing a sentient collective to evolve over centuries into a new species waging holy war against planet-destroying humans, in the name of the Emerald Mother?
The mystery of why Jen was caught riding a Bullcow through sleepy suburbia, wearing nothin' but a cowboy hat & spurs ?
