Deus, in its core, is actually a machine (or robot if you want) powered by an ultra advance AI computer. Its exterior, which is comprised of living body tissues is actually a special feature. Deus can regenerate itself (explaining the battle at Mahanon) and has the function to "learn". Its main body structure may also change when it 'evolves'.

When Fei and the other enter in the Eldridge they say there was a "rotten alien form", or something like that. For what was that "alien"? I've always thinked that Deus was an alien people!
However I think you are right, cause you are always right (I think thanks to PW).But re-thinking to this, I have thinked that for the people on Fei's planet we are alien, so...

In effect.. Deus is trying to gain superiority over his creators.. by destroying them. Is this why when the Eldridge returned from its initial journey the Earth was surrounded by a barrier?
A repeated theme on top of that, since Fei in his Deus-provided body is being drawn by fate to confront and destroy Deus.

Well.... The Eldridge never left Earth :) You can read more about the Eldridge and milestones in the Transcend Christ era through the timelines I've translated and posted (they're in this forum).
On another note, I FINALLY hit gold and found more infos about Zohar. Here's what I found.
The EYE portion in the upper part of the main Zohar structure was the original Uknown Object that was excavated from Earth in the year 2001. The rest of the gold-metal block that surrounds the eye was CONSTRUCTED on it -- as I've always assumed; Zohar was converted into an engine -- it did not contradict Xenogear's storyline at all.
In other words, Zohar is the EYE. And stop staring at me!
Also, Zohar is a mysterious existence that was thought to have existed since the beginning of the universe. Here is what's interesting: The existence and key background information as to what role Zohar played in the Xenogears world and its significance will be explained in Episode 1.

You were denounced simply because you claimed the Eye was supplying "MAM", which you vehemently believed to be the point of Contact, where in actuality, "MAM" and Zohar are no other than the same object under different terms -- which was complete bullshavick if I may politely add.
You were also denounced for the Dimensional Shift theory, which I won't even get into (d'oh, there are no roll eyes icon. Oh wait, there is!  ). Instead of trying to be like Zohar and actualizing 'facts' and distributing infinite amount of shitsumons, get yo facts straight!
I stand by my assumption that Zohar was converted into an Engine -- like I've always assumed -- but I admit I am rather surprised it took the bl0cky shape it did (which I labeled as an 'awkward' design for an engine at the age of its conversion).
So tell me, are you still being shot down and denounced by A.C. and company at XGZ (re-enacting Fallen Shadows), or are you taking my translations here for granted and spreadin' them like political propaganda over there, like the 'Ethos'? I'd like to step in and set some facts straight, but dat w00d rule out mah 3ntire p3p0se.

Of course  . Xenogears has been discussed to death -- except the Episode 1 portion, which has only been recently pounded to death.

I simply was surprised that you said that you always had figured that the metal block eas constrcuted around they eye which you had told me wasnt true, thats all.
No Iam not spreading your information around as propoganda, in fact if you must know, I appreciated very much the information you had translated. As for being shot down with my theories, yeah I had some, but don;t go getting all jumpy here.
