Topic Title: The usualy question
| | "The usualy question" , Wed 18 Apr 13:48
Ok.Let's start. Maybe this have been already asked and answered, but since I hadn't found it in the old topics... If Elly was created from WE for Abel's desire of his mother, why he always, in all generations, love her like a girlfriend? This seem very much strange to me! If it was already said could some good souls gently tell me where? Thanks for the help!

By Freud's theory, every male has a desire to kill his father and marry his mother, while all female has a desire to kill her mother to marry her father... I don't know, applies anyone here?
Anyway think NGE (which XG is inspired from), NGE spoiler spoiler:Rei is the clone of Shinji's mother, and Shinji sorta love her in a girlfriend's way, and in EoE... :P

A true love always is apparent, whichever generation it might (which is pretty much my guess). If Fei and Elly retained their regular personality/looks throughout the centuries, and they contained true love for each other, then why would they look at anyone else? :P
Just a guess, tho.

However, Wong also fits the mold of Freudian psychology demonstrating the Id, Ego etc.... One principle Idea in Freud's theorys is that it is every mans desire to surpass his father, and marry his mother. Not that I necesarily agree with his views, but Its an intresting point nonetheless.

This come from the mith of Edipo (so ... Edipo's Complex). The Oracle told his parents that he would kill his father and marry his mother, so he is send away to die, but he is saved and breed and (without knowing who he is) kills his father and fell in love with hia moter. When the things comes up. he blinds himself and his mother hangsa herself. The Old and good Greek Tragedy.

Abelwas scared and wanted to see his mother so WE just repilcated that emotion and created Elly to compliment Abel. It does not mean that Elly is created to be Abel's mother, rather she was created to comfort Abeli, like a lover.
One would question the realtionship Elly and Abel had since Elly was significantly older then him. But a bond bewteen them existed and it probably flourished during the Zeboim era.

yeah I was wondering that... well maybe the first version of elly was made to look after abel (maybe he was a kid?) thus no love could form there. Then all the other versions of fei were of the same age etc.. thus they were girlfreind boyfreind.... thats all I can think of until I get an explaination of that too :)
