Topic Title: The missing 12th Anima Relic

i've already got this topic on a GamFaqs board but that's ofcourse going nowhere fast. When i do my math i always come up with one extra anima relic. Let me show you. To start, there are 12 anima relics. Here are the gears they aligned with. 1. Regurus(Elly) 2. Vendetta(Ramsus) 3. Opiomorph(Miang) 4. El Stier(Rico) 5. El Renmazuo(Billy) 6. Amphysvena(Krellian) 7. Fenrir(Citan) 8. Andvari(Bart) 9. Seibzhen Bara(Maria) *Omni-gear of Seibzhen from Perfect Works 10. Crescens Bara(Emeralda) *same as above 11. Original Weltall(Grahf)
Weltall never aligned in the game so who got the other Relic? Maybe Urobulos was an omni-gear (highly doubt it). I don't know. Do any of you?

Ramsus, I believe, could align with multiple Anima Relics, as could Emperor Cain. It is distinctly possibly that Amphesyvena had multiple Anima relic - that would explain its odd, multi-armed appearance (Krelian's non-Omni gear was not centaur-like, as shown in at least one flashback, so it must have gotten that way somehow). This would sum up why Ramsus needed to pilot the gear, to allow it to align with multiple anima. An interesting thought - what would a 12-Relic Omnigear be like... as strong or stronger than Weltall, even?

Although the 12 Anima Relics are a part of Deus, there are quite a few other parts to it than just them, and it doesn't really have a 'gear' body. I mean what would a gear that had been aligned with all 12, piloted by Cain or Ramsus, be like?

That's what makes it so creepy to write this fanfic of mine... ^.^
I seriously doubt that it was feasible to align with mroe than one relic, even for Ramsus... but that's just opinion. What would be the point? If you want an all-powerful maneuverable weapon, well... that's what Deus was for, right? When he's not attached to the ground, I'm sure he's just as maneuverable as anything else.

Well, I think according to Emperor Cain, Ramsus is aligned with two anima? Well, I think maybe Emperor Cain is aligned with an anima? Also it seems that the anima doesn't really need those animus (or whatever). I mean, some of them never used their gears, some of them are dead, and still they can form Deus. So I guess as long as the anima are there, the animus are not necessary? What's the part of those animus playing in the resurrection of Deus?

But Emperor Cain thought that Amphysvena was Ramsus's gear and that's Vendetta.
Just why didn't Krelian use this gear himself? after all, Miang was enough to keep on watching Deus. (In fact, I don't find the sense of that scene. It's like they were waiting for Fei and the others to come just to drive Ramsus mad beating him again, and then calling him trash, worthless, etc...)

Maybe, the reason why they set Ramsus up for his defeat was to make him mentally unstable so that he would kill Miang... at least that's what I think. After trash-talking him, Ramsus went nuts (just like how Miang and Krelian put the idea into his head that he could beat Fei if he had all of Cain's power, thus enabling them to eliminate Cain himself).
But you're right... it doesn't make too much sense.
And another thing, if Miang survived the attack in her gear because of the nanomachines, how is it that Ramsus was able to kill her? Unless, Krelian was talking about the gear being fused with nanomachines and not Miang's body... Well, I think I just answered my own question.

I think that it was reffering to the gear.

all right, well according to that thread the 12th would have been assigned to Rene. Any proof of this in Perfect Works? I haven't tried to translate much of anything to do with Rene so I wouldn't know whether or not he had an omni-gear. If so, what was this omni-gear's name?

All I've read about Rene says that he was in his brother's batallion, that he was killed in the Days of Destruction, and that he was the father of Izolde, the second mother of Nisan. He isn't named on the Anima/Animus list either, so I assume that he was not assigned a relic, as I used to suspect. Ah well.
